Rules (if applicable) : Eaters will have 1 hour to eat as many Pancake Manor pancakes as possible. Pancakes must be eaten whole to count, and must be eaten sequentially. Contestants will be given a plate of 4 pancakes to commence the competition, and only after the first place is completely eaten can they request additional pancakes. Once the first place of 4 pancakes has been eaten, an amount of 2 pancakes will be provided per additional plate. The person who eats the most pancakes in the one hour period will be deemed the winner and will be awarded the major prize. The Amateur eater (an eater who does not hold a CompetitiveEating.com.au ranking) who eats the most pancakes in the 1 hour period will be awarded the Amateur prize. Chimpmunking at the end of the competition is allowed. Dunking throughout the competition is not allowed. Water will be provided. Maple syrup and whipped butter will also be provided. Drinks other than water can be purchased from the venue throughout the competition. In the event of a tie, an "Eat Off" will occur, where the tied contestants (2 or more) will each be given a pancake to consume as fast as possible. The person who consumes the Pancake the fastest showing an open mouth (to confirm the Pancake has been fully consumed) will be deemed the winner. Any contestant that vomits within the one hour competition period, or anyone who leaves the table will be disqualified.

Held each year now for… well, forever, this ONE HOUR competition is the longest on the calendar, and certainly needs a hearty appetite to eat for the entire period! The prize is certainly worth it though, free pancakes for a whole year!

And for the first time ever, this year there will be an Amateur prize of a $50 voucher! So not only do you get to eat an hour’s worth of their delicious pancakes, but if you win you can come back and try something different. Or pancakes!
