Thanks to all that competed in this year’s $1 McBurger Eating Competition! 20 Hamburgers is harder than it sounds, so a huge thanks to all that entered. We’ve listened to your feedback and next competition we’ll be making some changes to the format so stay tuned!
Our Pro’s had it tough, with Vince coming out with his video on day 1 of the competition setting the bar very high indeed. Only Sven submitted his video, able to beat his time in a very close competition.
In the Amateur category, un-ranked eater Mick “The Machine” Stonier set an unbelievable time which proved unbeatable in his division. Newcomer Daniel “The Tassie Tornado” Rumble set a great time at 39:22, with the last few proving tough. Although we had much chatter in the comments, Michael and Daniel were the only two entrants able to complete the 20 burgers in the 1hr timeframe, showing just how hard this competition is. An honorable mention for Yuan Yeap, who while he didn’t finish 20, was 3rd best tapping out at 18. We’ll be sending him a patch anyway for putting in such a fantastic effort.
Professional Category

That’s right folks! If you power on and finish them all in less than an hour, we’ll send you a rare, exclusive CompetitiveEating.com.au embroidered patch. If you can eat 20 burgers in one sitting, you deserve to be recognised as a Competitive Eater! This is for both the Amateur and Pro categories. Maximum time allowed is 1 hour.

You can submit an edited video for your entry, however you must retain the original, unedited video for us to review should that be required. Anyone who enters and cannot supply that original video when requested will be disqualified from the competition. This includes those going over the 20 minutes attempting to get their embroidered patch.
