For its 9th year, Niji Sushi will find out who Australia’s fastest sushi eater is! The record is 1 minute 42 seconds set by the previously ranked #1 in Australia, Isaac H-D. Can anyone beat that time to win themselves a return flight to Japan?
This year in conjunction with the Kingsford Chamber of Commerce, the competition will be held in the Meeks Street Mall, across the road from Niji Sushi. It’ll be a show not to be missed!
Contestants will have 10 minutes to finish 50 pieces of sushi and rolls, and 1 wasabi ball. This year we will have Amateur and Pro divisions, the competition will be fierce! And the prizes are amazing!
Beat Isaac H-D’s time of 1:42, and you win a return flight to Japan! (conditions apply)
The Professional division will have a 1st place prize of $500, 2nd place $250 and 3rd place $100.
The Amateur Division will have a 1st place prize of $200, 2nd place $100, and 3rd place $50.
Not only will contestants get to eat 50 pieces of Sydney’s best sushi, each competitor will get a 10% discount card valid for 1 year, and a goodies bag as well. $50 to enter, 50 pieces of Sydney’s best sushi. You can’t lose!
And, if you finish all your sushi in 10 minutes or less, your registration fee will be reimbursed! Free sushi!!!
